About the Archive

News Summits is a reference archive of leaders' meetings: the G7, the G20, NATO, the European Council, ASEAN, the African Union, the UN climate conferences, BRICS and the bilateral meetings that matter. Each summit has its dates, host, the leaders who attended, the agenda, what was agreed and the documents it produced.

Upcoming summits get a page as soon as they are announced and fill in as they happen. Dispatches cover what is being prepared, agreed or disputed, and each one links the summit it is about.

The archive is written for students, researchers and journalists checking a date or a communiqué. It is neutral by design: dates, places, names and documents first.
