Sources & Methods

Every summit page lists its sources. Dates, hosts and places for past and announced summits come from Wikidata, which is published under CC0 and gathers official announcements; editors check them against the official summit and ministry sites, and link the communiqués and declarations themselves.

A weekly check compares Wikidata with the archive. New summits and changed dates are saved as drafts for an editor; nothing it finds is published without review. An announced summit shows only the month or year until its days are confirmed.

Dispatches are drafted from official statements, communiqués, UN and EU Council releases and the archive's own records, and every draft is read by an editor before it is published.
